COMMON QUESTIONS.

What is the difference between TPO and EPDM roofing?

TPO (thermoplastic polyolefin) is a white membrane known for heat reflectivity and weld-seam strength. EPDM (ethylene propylene diene monomer) is a black rubber membrane known for durability and flexibility in cold climates. Both are flat roofing standards. KMAX inspects your property and recommends based on your specific situation.

How often should a commercial roof be inspected?

Commercial roofs should be inspected at minimum twice per year — spring and fall — and after any significant weather event. KMAX documents each inspection so you have a condition record over time.
